Apple Hardware

Here are some of my thoughts and ramblings and maybe wishlist as well, on what what Apple could do with their hardware:
- MacBook Air should be ARM based only, for greater battery life than current/future offerings from Intel can offer, users of the MacBook Air for the most part are not using/require the processing power of an Intel processor as they are not using pro applications.
- MacBook Pro should be Intel based only, as users that purchase the MacBook Pro would be using pro applications and need/require the power that the Intel processors provide. Where battery life is not so critical .
- Mac mini and iMac should be available in both an ARM and Intel variants, to meet the need of data centers/Enterprise/SMB/Home users, where it can offer the power savings of ARM or the processing power of Intel, depending on the application[s] that are required.
One of the other benefits of Apple offering an ARM based computer would be the cost saving to the end user while still being able to have their 30% profit margin. Mind you, Apple would have to have separate logic boards for each platform and production cost would increase for the lower production runs.
All this would be contingent on if, OX X can run on an ARM processor based computer.
